Submissions Terms & Conditions
By submitting to the Symposium, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
-
All communication regarding progress of your abstract(s) will only be sent to the presenting author as nominated in the abstract submission.
-
Submission of an abstract does not constitute acceptance for presentation.
-
Failure to obtain a visa for in–person presentations will not constitute grounds for refund of any fees paid to the event.
-
It is a requirement that all abstracts accepted for presentation and/or poster display must be delivered at the event by an author who has registered and paid a full event delegate registration fee and has done so on or before the stipulated registration date. Abstracts and presentations of authors who fail to comply with this registration requirement will be deleted from the program without notice.
-
Presentations shall only be delivered by one (1) person. This person shall be the presenting author, except in an emergency such as illness, where an alternative speaker may be considered.
-
Submissions must be original work not previously presented elsewhere and must not include plagiarised content or any material generated by artificial intelligence without explicitly acknowledging the original author and source.
-
Submissions that are revised, updated, or reworked versions of previous research outcomes will be considered; however, they must not be verbatim reproductions of previously published papers.
-
Accepted presentations require a paper to be submitted by the stipulated date. This document will either be an extended abstract (1-2 pages) or full paper (up to 8 pages) using a template provided to accepted authors.
-
Abstracts and full papers will be published in Symposium material (including, but not limited to Delegate App, Website, and official Symposium Proceedings).
